This clever gadget connects your martingale to a girth that has a carabiner clip in the centre.
Simply buckle it on to your martingale/breast plate/breast girth and then clip the ring on to / off the carabiner clip on your girth.
It is more comfortable for your horse as you are not slipping a leather strap around between your horse and girth which can cause a pressure point on your horse.
And it is safer and quicker to tack up for you! You spend as little time under your horse as necessary plus only one hand is required unlike some other martingale fastenings.
Be warned though – once used you are hooked!
The KHS Martingale Attachment Ring is available in the following variations:

Please note: you will be adding approx. 4 1/2″ in length between your girth and the end of your martingale, so you may need to buckle the martingale to a shorter position or even punch additional holes to shorten it further.
