This Saver Pack is great value for money and includes the steam generator and chest, as well as a standard size haynet, a bale bag and 10 sachets of descaler (when you completely evaporate 4 litres of water each day, you need to descale the generator frequently!). The HG 600 has recently been improved by added gas struts to the lid. With its 15kg capacity (approx. half a small bale, loose in haynets or in sections), the HG 600 is designed to feed 2 to 3 horses daily. The trolley-handle and two sturdy wheels keep it just small enough to travel with. The 2.75kW steam generator has a capacity of 8 litres (two steam cycles) and features an audible “boil dry alert” and warning light. It raises the temperature in the sturdy chest within one hour to 100°C, which kills all bacteria and mould spores in the hay. The integrated handle makes it easy to rinse the steam generator, and the location of the filler spout prevents over-filling.
