With its 35kg capacity (a full small bale), the HG 2000 is designed to feed 4 horses or more daily. The 2.75kW steam generator has a capacity of 8 litres (two steam cycles) and features an audible “boil dry alert” and warning light. It raises the temperature in the sturdy, wheeled chest within one hour to 100°C, which kills all bacteria and mould spores in the hay. The integrated handle makes it easy to rinse the steam generator, and the location of the filler spout prevents over-filling.
